Under the patronage of Vice-Rector of Student Affairs, Prof. Ghada bin Saif, and Saudi Universities Sports Federation’s Advisor, Dr Asma Al-Yameny, the Sports Club at KSU’s Female Student Campus launched second colleges’ Basketball League on Thursday 31/10/2019. The League was sponsored by Saudi Universities Sports Federation and was attended by a remarkable number of vice-deans and students
This primary aim of the League is to create a fair, competitive environment, and to qualify young female athletes to compete in local, regional, and international tournaments.
Prof. Bin Saif accentuated the individual attention that KSU gives to physical activity due to its positive impact on physical, psychological, and cognitive health
By the end of the ceremony, the Vice-Rector inaugurated the indoor swimming pool at the students’ sports club to increase the women’s participation in sports, which comes in line with KSU’s objectives to promote and raise awareness on women’s sport.
