King Saud University's Rector, Badran Al-Omar, recently launched a new e-service aimed at encouraging KSU doctorate and master degree students to enrol at top universities around the world.
The service, called “New Scholar” is now available via the e-services portal, and was developed by Deanship of E-transactions and Communications in cooperation with the Deanship of Faculty and Personnel Affairs.
New Scholar aims at encouraging KSU students to study at the world's top 50 universities according to the Shanghai Academic Ranking of World Universities. The program also encourages students to study advanced sciences at such universities.
The Human Resources Development department at the Deanship of Faculty and Personnel Affairs encourages eligible KSU students to submit their details to the New Scholar website so that they can start benefiting from the program's features.
The Deanship of E-transactions and Communications established the New Scholar website in response to the rector's guidance during the open meeting with the staff members in December last year.
