With high endeavor, professionalism and scientific progress, the Central Laboratory provides an intensive course in research methodology starting on Sunday 13/2/1438 until 17/2/1438 (25 training hours). This initiative targets all those interested in scientific research whether they are graduate students, faculty members or researchers within and outside the university. This edifice is a mainstay for research and educational process at the scientific and medical studies departments with its modern high-tech devices and equipment in all units, and highly trained efficiency staff.
Her Excellency Dr. Maha Daghestani said: “the laboratory is distinguished by its content of modern high-tech devices and equipment in all units and the high efficiency staff who are trained on operating such devices. This edifice is a mainstay for those interested in research and educational process within and outside the university.
Central Laboratory is looking forward to achieve excellence and leadership and to provide a unique research environment for all those interested. It contains twelve specialized research laboratories for basic and bio sciences. It also aims to encourage innovators to research, innovate and invent in order to complete the scientific research system and achieve excellence in the field of research, development and knowledge economy. Central Laboratory serves beneficiaries from colleges within and outside King Saud University. It is considered a pillar in its field and services for the society.
The Central Laboratory, with its full capacity, is a result of King Saud University developmental steps, and an extension of its vision which is reflected in developed programs, plans and projects to keep up with the national movement under the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and under the national transformation.
