On the19th of April 2018, the Female Students Campus at KSU has inaugurated an educational research partnership to promote “Patient Safety Project with the Saudi Patient Safety Center", represented by the Director of the Center Dr. Abdullah Alhawsawi, and "King Abdullah Institute For Research and Consulting Studies" at KSU represented by Prof. Saeed Faiz Al-Saeed. The inauguration attended by Vice Rector for Female Student Affairs Prof.Einas Al-Eisa who praised the role of King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies in achieving the vision, transformation and achieving aspirations. 

The project aims to develop a national strategy to improve patient safety and reduce medical errors. The consultant of the Vice Rector for Female Student Affairs Dr. Faten Al-Zamil stated that “the role of the University lies in the provision of advisory, academic, training and research services to enhance the concepts of patient safety through the University's academic, research and societal role, by applying global standards in this field. In line with Saudi Arabia's growing interest in citizen health and safety. 

Moreover, Dr. Abdullah Alhawsawi said that: “the priority of the center is to empower patients and their families, raise awareness and knowledge of their safety and enhancement of health education through studies to improve the level of sanitary facilities. Prof. Saeed Al-Saeed said that “several projects will emerge from this project that will support the vision objectives goals”.  

This agreement is in line with the vision of the KSA 2030 and the National Transition 2020 Program in achieving scientific partnerships, to develop the community service, to contribute the social development and to aspiration the governors to improve the health services in the country
