KSU Rector Headed the Fourth Coordination Meeting for Saudi Universities Endowments

On behalf of His Excellency KSU Rector ,Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al Omar, KSU Vice Rector, Dr. Abdullah Bin Salman Al Salman, and with the presence of  Secretary  General of KSU Endowments, Dr. Khalid Al-Dhafer, hosted the fourth coordination meeting for the secretaries general and officials of the Saudi universities Endowments on April 24th, 2017. The meeting, which was attended by representatives from fifteen governmental universities, aimed to transfer experiences, strengthen and unify efforts, encourage and support the establishment of emerging university Endowment, and create qualitative initiatives to serve the universities’ endowments. Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman welcomed the attendees and stressed on the importance of endowments in supporting the University process, and the important role of endowments in achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030. He also urged the attendees to exchange experiences and to establish governance of the university endowments to achieve its vision and objectives. The attendees discussed the agenda items including forming a team to study and document the experiences of Saudi universities and compare them with international universities to help in establishing the emerging Saudi universities endowments. After the meeting, the attendees received a tour of KSU Towers where they were briefed about the project.
