The Deanship of Library Affairs held an event to celebrate the International Translation Day on Monday, September 30, 2019. It aimed to shed light on the importance of translation worldwide and its role in enhancing effective and efficient communication between nations and cultures.

During the event, Ms. Amal Almutairy held a workshop entitled "Basics of Medical Translation" addressing the basic medical terminology, and a book signing for her book "Medical Translation in Brief". The Attendees also enjoyed a range of activities including; writing their names in calligraphy style by the Calligrapher Fatima Alsarami, and a presentation of common sentences in sign language.
