His Excellency the President of King Saud University, Dr. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, inaugurated the university's celebration of the International Students' Day, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The event was attended by the honorable deputies of the president, the vice deans of the Deanship of Student Affairs, deans of colleges and faculties, and a number of university staff and students. The event took place on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the main hall of the female student campus.

The celebration aims to showcase the cultures of nations and explore their global civilizations. Nearly thirty countries participated in the exhibition, introducing their countries, cultures, and peoples' heritage.

In addition to the educational visa pavilion and the "Study in Saudi Arabia" platform, the doors of higher education are open to international students to study in Saudi Arabia, where its universities enjoy a high level of education accredited by international institutions.

The exhibition also featured performances and folk dances from several countries that were admired by many visitors.

The best five booths from the participating countries, which distinguished themselves through the efforts of their students in highlighting their countries' culture, were honored as follows: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, Palestine, and Yemen. Haila Al-Shuwaish was also honored for designing the logo of the International Students' Day, along with the event sponsors.
