King Saud University Signs Global Agreements During Participation in Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference

As a strategic partner, King Saud University (KSU) took part in the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) Conference—one of the key programs supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The event was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee.

During the conference, the university signed several international agreements and memoranda of understanding with leading global institutions in the fields of technology and science. Among these was a framework agreement between KSU and the American DigiPen Institute of Technology, witnessed by Dr. Abeer Al-Harbi, Advisor to the Vice President for Planning and Development.

Additionally, King Saud University was awarded the Golden Tier Accessibility Certificate for being a supportive work environment for persons with disabilities in 2025. The university also signed an agreement with IBM Middle East, witnessed by the Vice-Rectorate for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and entered into several MOUs, including: CEER Company (Saudi electric vehicle manufacturer); SDAIA (Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority); and ALAT Company (a PIF-backed advanced electronics firm).

Furthermore, KSU announced the upcoming launch of its open online training platform "KSUx", aimed at expanding access to education and training resources.

These partnerships reflect King Saud University’s continuous efforts to enhance its scientific and practical resources, and to promote research collaboration and knowledge exchange between local and international researchers.
