Dean of the College of Medicine Sponsors the Welcoming and Orientation Meeting for New Faculty Members

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Bandar bin Nasser Al-Jafn, and in the presence of the college’s vice deans and vice deans (female), as well as a number of heads of academic departments, the Faculty Members and Teaching Assistants Support Unit organized a welcoming and orientation ceremony for newly appointed faculty members on the evening of Wednesday, 17/12/2025, with the aim of strengthening institutional communication and fostering a supportive academic environment.
In a speech delivered during the ceremony, the Dean of the College of Medicine emphasized that the joining of a distinguished group of faculty members from various medical specialties represents a qualitative addition to the college, noting that they are entrusted with a pivotal role in supporting the educational process and scientific research, and in contributing to the achievement of the college’s and the university’s objectives, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in enhancing research output and advancing the quality of academic and healthcare outcomes.
For his part, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Asim bin Abdulaziz Al-Fadda, welcomed the newly joined members, affirming the college’s commitment to providing the necessary academic and research support to enable them to perform their scientific and professional duties efficiently, and to achieve excellence in healthcare and service to the nation.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of commemorative gifts to the new faculty members, followed by a dinner reception as an expression of welcome and appreciation for their joining the academic community of the College of Medicine.
