The Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine organizes an enriching scientific lecture on enhancing the visual impact of scientific research.

The Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine organized an enriching scientific lecture entitled “How to Enhance the Impact of Your Scientific Research Using Video and Visual Abstracts,” delivered by Dr. Tullio Rossi, Director of the Animate Your Science platform, on Monday, January 26, 2026, in the college’s main auditorium. The lecture aimed to highlight modern approaches to presenting scientific research and transforming it into engaging visual content that contributes to increasing its dissemination and impact, through the use of scientific videos and visual abstracts as effective tools in contemporary scientific communication. During the lecture, Dr. Tullio Rossi addressed a number of specialized topics, most notably the importance of scientific storytelling, mechanisms for simplifying complex research concepts, and the steps for converting research findings into publishable visual content capable of reaching a broader audience within and beyond academic circles. He also reviewed applied models and successful experiences in using visual platforms to support researchers in clearly and professionally conveying their scientific messages, emphasizing the role of these tools in strengthening the scientific presence of research and increasing opportunities for benefiting from it.

This lecture comes as part of the efforts of the Department of Anatomy at the College of Medicine to support researchers and graduate students and to develop their skills in modern scientific communication, in line with the latest global practices in presenting and publishing scientific research, and to enhance the quality of the college’s research outputs.
