The Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the College of Medicine concluded a series of specialized training courses and workshops held during January 2026 as part of its ongoing efforts to advance medical training and enhance the skills of doctors and healthcare practitioners in precise surgical fields. The series included several accredited scientific courses, notably the 4th Head and Neck Anatomy Course, the 15th Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) Course, the 18th Riyadh Course on Endoscopic, Tracheal, and Esophageal Surgery and Laser Surgery, as well as the 44th Temporal Bone Dissection Course. These courses were delivered through comprehensive scientific programs combining theoretical lectures with hands-on workshops in specialized surgical laboratories.

The aim was to develop surgeons’ skills, elevate clinical practice standards, and introduce the latest techniques and modern therapeutic methods in the fields of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, thereby contributing to improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients. The department’s organization of this series reflects its academic and training role in supporting continuous medical education and providing a practical scientific environment that keeps pace with global medical advancements and contributes to preparing qualified medical professionals capable of handling complex cases according to the highest professional standards.
