The Sports Club at the College of Medicine concludes its participation in the Riyadh Marathon and honors the participating students.

The Sports Club of the College of Medicine recently concluded its participation in the Riyadh Marathon, organized by the Saudi Sports for All Federation, with the participation of nine students from the college. This came as part of the club’s efforts to support sports activities and enhance student participation in community events aimed at promoting physical activity and sports culture among College of Medicine students, reinforcing the values of competition and perseverance, and providing opportunities for social interaction and building positive relationships outside the academic framework. The club honored the students who achieved the top three positions in the 21-kilometer race in appreciation of their participation and honorable representation of the college. Student Aban Al-Anazi secured first place with a time of 1:46:47, followed by Omar Al-Attas in second place with a time of 2:14:24, while Saud Al-Muhaimid placed third with a time of 2:22:51.

This comes within the college’s commitment to supporting student initiatives that contribute to achieving a balance between academic achievement and a healthy lifestyle.
