Dr. Soha Kaaki Leads the Establishment of the First Saudi Society Specialized in Robotic Surgery
In a step that reflects the leadership of national talents in adopting advanced medical technologies, Dr. Soha Kaaki, Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine at the university, announced the establishment of the Saudi Society for Robotic Surgery under the umbrella of the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development. This marks the first specialized society in this field at the level of the Kingdom, the Gulf countries, and the Middle East, reinforcing the Kingdom’s position in one of the most advanced and innovative paths in medicine. Dr. Soha Kaaki is considered one of the prominent academic figures in the surgical field; her career combines clinical practice with academic work. She serves as the Secretary-General of the Saudi Society of General Surgery, in addition to supervising the Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Program, and has continuous contributions to the development of medical education and the enhancement of healthcare workforce competencies.
