Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Bandar Al-Jafen, Honors 39 Course Coordinators in Support of Education Quality

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Bandar bin Nasser Al-Jafen, honored 39 academic course coordinators in recognition of their efforts in supporting the educational process and following up on the progress of courses, in the presence of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Mona bint Mohammed Suleiman, and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hanaa Al-Bulaihi. This took place during his meeting with them today, Monday, September 28, 2026, at the first meeting of the Committee for Supporting Outstanding, Creative, and Inventive Students, held in the Departments Councils Meeting Room at the College.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Jafen emphasized the importance of the role of course coordinators in supporting the academic system, commending their efforts in coordination and communication with faculty members and students. He called for enhancing faculty members’ participation in developing courses and updating questions, adhering to assessment blueprints, and benefiting from course reports and students’ feedback in a manner that contributes to improving their outcomes and enhancing academic discipline.

The meeting discussed a number of academic topics, most notably following up on what has been done regarding submitting examinations with the blueprints, in addition to any new developments. The meeting concluded with a group photo of the honorees.
