Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Bandar Al-Jafen, Sponsors the College’s Celebration of the 96th Saudi National Day in the Presence of University Medical City and University Leaders

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Bandar bin Nasser Al-Jafen, sponsored the College’s celebration of the 96th Saudi National Day today, Monday, September 28, 2026, under the theme “Our Pride Is in Our Nature,” held in the College lobby at the Western Building. The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Salah Hersi, Executive General Director of the University Medical City; Dr. Mai bint Mohammed Al-Rashed, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences; Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdulrahman Al-Saleh, Executive Director of Strategic Planning at the University Medical City; and Mr. Abdullah bin Manahi Al-Osaimi, Executive Director of Human Resources at the University Medical City. It was also attended by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Asim bin Abdulaziz Al-Fadda; the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Dr. Mona bint Mohammed Suleiman; and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Hanaa bint Mohammed Al-Bulaihi, along with a number of department heads, directors of departments, faculty members, college staff, male and female students.

The celebration program included a tour of the exhibition booths, which reflected the national identity and Saudi cultural heritage, the performance of the Saudi Ardah, and a number of competitions and interactive activities, including a competition featuring popular proverbs derived from Saudi society’s culture. The celebration concluded in a national atmosphere that embodied pride in the homeland and appreciation for its history, heritage, and deeply rooted values.
