The 19th Foundational Program for New Faculty Members

As part of King Saud University’s commitment to supporting new faculty members and empowering them to perform their academic and professional duties with excellence, and under the patronage of the Acting University President—in cooperation with the Deanship of Human Resources—the Deanship of Skills Development is pleased to announce the 19th Foundational Program for New Faculty Members, scheduled to be held on Monday and Tuesday, 7–8 Rabi’ Al-Thani 1447 AH (corresponding to September 29–30, 2025), from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This program is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of new academic staff, introduce them to university regulations and policies, and develop their teaching and research skills, enabling them to effectively fulfill their educational and scholarly missions. The program will open with an honoring ceremony for the completers of the 18th foundational program, under the patronage and in the presence of the Acting University President. Now in its 19th edition, this foundational program stands as one of the university’s most significant professional development initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes and aligning with best global practices. It will include a series of lectures and workshops focused on academic and administrative aspects relevant to the roles and responsibilities of faculty members. The Deanship emphasized that this initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering a well-rounded academic environment and encouraging excellence in teaching practices. All new faculty members are invited to register and actively participate in the program's sessions.
