Acting University President Sponsors Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition
Under the patronage of the Acting President of King Saud University, Professor Dr. Ali Masmali, the “Mobile Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition” was launched today at King Saud University. The event aims to promote the values of national security, raise cybersecurity awareness, build a strong cybersecurity culture among university faculty, staff, and students, and help reduce emerging cyber risks. It also seeks to enhance collaboration between national entities in the field of cybersecurity. The exhibition coincides with Global Cybersecurity Awareness Month, observed annually in October.
Organized by King Saud University in cooperation with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), the two-day exhibition features five interactive pavilions designed to enrich participants’ experience, showcase key cybersecurity concepts, and highlight its importance at the national level. The exhibition also focuses on safe online behaviors that help prevent cyber threats through interactive displays and simulations.
Attendees can explore modern cybersecurity tools and technologies, witness live simulations of cyberattacks targeting individuals and organizations, and receive practical cybersecurity guidance on best practices in the workplace.
The Mobile Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition is part of a broader series of national awareness initiatives led by the NCA to foster cybersecurity awareness, strengthen national security values, and support institutional efforts in building a safe and resilient digital environment across the Kingdom.
