The Department of Pediatrics at the College of Medicine Organizes the Fourth Pediatric Research Day

On behalf of the Dean of the College of Medicine, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mona bint Mohammed Suleiman, recently inaugurated the "Fourth Pediatric Research Day," organized by the Department of Pediatrics in the College, in partnership with the Saudi Pediatric Association; aiming to highlight scientific output in the field of pediatrics, promote a culture of scientific research, support researchers, and encourage students to submit research abstracts that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare for children, in the presence of a distinguished group of researchers and faculty members in pediatrics. The program included presentations of specialized scientific research and discussions of the submitted research abstracts, shaping the research day as an inspiring platform to showcase qualitative research, enhance scientific collaboration locally and internationally, with a focus on the role of innovation and artificial intelligence in advancing child health. The event also witnessed the honoring of six researchers and professionals in the field of pediatrics, in recognition of their distinguished scientific contributions.
This comes as part of the College of Medicine’s ongoing efforts to enhance the research environment and achieve academic and research excellence.
