Dr. Bandar Al-Jafen Honors Saad Al-Anqari and Nouf Al-Dalqan in Recognition of Their Academic and Behavioral Excellence for 2026

The Dean of the College of Medicine at King Saud University, Dr. Bandar bin Nasser Al-Jafen, honored student Saad bin Mohammed Al-Anqari and student Nouf bint Abdullatif Al-Dalqan on Wednesday, May 5, 2026, during the College Council meeting, in recognition of their academic and behavioral excellence and for receiving the title of “Ideal Student” at the College of Medicine level for the year 2026.

This recognition comes as an extension of the honoring ceremony for winners of the 16th Scientific Forum for King Saud University Students, sponsored by the Acting University President, Prof. Ali bin Mohammed Masmali. The ceremony included honoring distinguished students in research, innovation, and talent, as well as recipients of the “Ideal Student” title at the college and university levels, in addition to outstanding students in extracurricular activities.

Dr. Al-Jafen emphasized that this achievement reflects the students’ seriousness, excellence, and academic discipline, in addition to their active participation in student activities and initiatives. He noted the College of Medicine’s commitment to supporting inspiring student models and encouraging students toward academic excellence, community engagement, and leadership participation. He explained that the “Ideal Student” title aims to promote academic and behavioral excellence, develop initiative and responsibility, and highlight inspiring student role models, contributing to the preparation of distinguished national talents.

This recognition represents a continuation of the efforts of the College of Medicine at King Saud University in supporting outstanding students and empowering national talents, contributing to the development of an academically and leadership-qualified generation capable of serving the nation and supporting its developmental journey.
