The College of Computer and Information Sciences team representing King Saud University

 

won second place in the WiT Hackathon and NextGen Association sponsored by PwC Middle East.

King Saud University Journal - College of Computer and Information Sciences Ranks Second in the World According to the Network of Science

In an achievement that is the first of its kind for journals affiliated with King Saud University,

 

the Journal of King Saud University for Computer and Information Sciences

 

The University's College of Computer and Information Sciences

 

ranks second in the world in its field to become one of the

 

first-quarter Q1 journals with an impact factor: 13.62 according to the Web of Science website classification.

Wetad Team Wins First Place in the Holy Quran Hackathon

The Wetad team of female students of the College of Computer and Information Sciences won first place in the International Holy Quran Hackathon (Burjuman Holy Quran)

out of 750 ideas and 2500 participants from around the world.

Four Teams from CCIS Win the Digital Innovation Award

Four teams representing the College of Computer and Information Sciences,

King Saud University won an award for digital innovation in the digital research track under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

The winning teams are:

- Rimq team from the Information Systems Department - ranked second
- BusinessGO team from the IT department - ranked third
- Mushir's team from the Information Systems Department - ranked fourth
Serene team from the Software Engineering Department - ranked fifth

 

The College of Computer and Information Sciences Signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Programmers Association

In the presence of His Excellency the President and Vice Deans of the University,

 

the College of Computer and Information Sciences signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Programmers Association

 

 With the aim of providing college students with the necessary skills in technologies,

 

solutions and open source software and training them on them, and establishing a specialized laboratory in the college to teach and train these technologies.

 

College of Computer and Information Sciences and Arabic Language

 

Last year, the College of Computer and Information Sciences participated in the Arabic language in its celebration of the International Arabic Language Day on the eighteenth of December,

 

 

with the theme: (Arabic language and artificial intelligence)

 

As for this year, the college celebration was with Al-Dhad language under the theme of:

 

(Arabic language academies, a necessity or a luxury)

 

Conditions for transferring between departments of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences

Transferring between departments is done by differentiation among students over the available seats in the required department after fulfilling the following conditions:

 

 
1- The student must pass two semesters in the current department.

 

Note: Transfer between college departments is not accepted for new students who have been allocated in the college or who have been transferred to the college in the previous semester, except after passing two semesters.

 

Admissions are open to apply for postgraduate programs at the College of Computer and Information Sciences
