The Annual Closing Ceremony of the Volunteer Office 2023

The Community Service Unit, represented by the Volunteering Office at the University vice presidency for Female Students Affairs, held the annual closing ceremony for the Volunteering Office for the year 2023, to honor the distinguished male and female volunteers. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the main theater in the Female Students' campus.

The Volunteering Office plays a vital role in promoting and spreading the culture of volunteering within the university community, as well as in community development. It aims to transform individual efforts into organized institutional work. The office established the distinguished volunteering team called "Fakhr Al-Tatawwu'- the pride of volunteering-" It was the first specialized volunteering team of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The office also plays a significant role in discovering the skills of university staff and utilizing them properly. It contributes to achieving the vision of reaching one million volunteers.

During the ceremony, a visual presentation was given to highlight the initiatives and achievements of the Volunteering Office and the "Fakhr Al-Tatawwu'" team during the year 2023, both within and outside the university. The number of volunteering opportunities reached 192, with 1,412 male and female volunteers participating.
