Counseling and Guidance Center Holds a Workshop on the Future in the Private Sector

 The Deanship of Student Affairs represented by the Counseling and Guidance Center held a workshop entitled "The Future in the Private Sector" on Tuesday 11th Oct. 2022, in building 26 for female students, and at the College of Computer Science for male students.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Hana Alfurayh, the Co-founder of Ershad Co. for Human Resources and Career Development and a volunteer researcher in the Saudi Human Capital Club. She defined the private sector and pointed out its importance among the objectives of 2030 vision. She also reviewed private sector employment, career development, employment support programs, and how to take advantage of such programs. Moreover, she pointed to the intense competition for private sector jobs and the pros and cons of working there.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops offered by the Vocational Guidance Center to support students and prepare them for the labor market.
