Members of King Saud University’s Life Club, a student group dedicated to humanitarian volunteer work, recently visited three Riyadh hospitals to gain awareness of healthy lifestyles and diseases such as diabetes, and to help cheer up patients with greeting cards, candy, games and other gifts. The students were accompanied by Dean of Student Affairs Fahad Al-Misned, a professor of Zoology at KSU.The first stop was King Saud Medical Complex, where the students and dean met the medical staff and visited patients. The next day, they met with the medical staff and visited patients at King Fahd Medical City, where they were accompanied by staff social workers Najah Al-Murshid, Nada Al-Otaibi and Dalal Al-Onzi. The final visit was to King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital, where they were welcomed by Abdulaziz Al-Hozaili, the hospital’s chief of protocol, and public relations officer Bandar Al-Shalmi.
