King Saud University's Deanship of E-Transactions and Communications has established a system to recruit retired KSU professors for short periods of time.
The Post-Retirement Faculty service was developed in collaboration with the Scientific Council and is now operational.
Through the system, retired faculty members are recruited via a process that sees their application vetted by the department head, the college dean, and the committee for employment and retirement in the Science Council.
To facilitate the process, a minimum satisfaction requirement listing specific criteria must be fulfilled before the candidate moves to the next stage.
The system is easy to use and requires only three steps at most to set up, making it an effective recruitment method.
The application system makes reports based on reliable data to produce the required statistics while ensuring complete confidentiality through out all processes in the system, including faculty evaluation reports.
Under the system, applicants are informed about developments with their application through an integrated system using e-mails and text messages SMS, which supports both Arabic or English.
For any questions or additional information, users of the system can call 4675557-01.
