SamsungdelegationA delegation from Korean electronics giant, Samsung, visited King Saud University earlier this month to examine ways it can help develop KSU's e-learning services and education technology.

The delegation was headed by Pak Hong, an educational technology professor at Seoul University and consultant for Samsung, and was received by KSU's Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning, represented by the vice dean of Development and Quality, Sultan Al-Mutairi, and the vice dean of Academic Affairs, Raid Alsoghayer,

During the visit, KSU staff familiarised the Samsung delegation with e-learning experience at KSU, and put forward ways the two could cooperate.

As part of the meeting, the Deanship also showed the Samsung delegation  some of it's notable projects, such as the Smart Campus, and the e-learning curriculum development project.
