King Saud UniversityTreating plants with resistant genes has been in the spotlight this week at King Saud University, with a lecture from a renowned agriculture professor from the University of Arizona on Tuesday.

Professor Judith Brown presented a lecture in the main hall at the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences on the ways in which genes can be used to treat plant viruses.

The lecture brought to a close a three-day workshop and training program that was organized by the College of Food and Agricultural Sciences, and supported by the National Plan for Science and Technology.
