King Saud University's dean of Skills Development met with the University’s dean of e-Transactions and Communications late last month as part of efforts to facilitate the development of training services, in particular e-training services.
Skills Development Dean Abdulaziz Al-Othman met with Esam A. Alwagait along with the vice dean of programs and Training, Mohammad A. Al-harthi, and the vice dean for programs and e-Services at the Deanship of e-Transactions and Communications, Waleed Alsalih, in the Deanships main conference hall.
The group discussed possible avenues of cooperation between the two deanships for the development of a website to improving the process of admitting the beneficiaries of the deanship’s programs, as well as offering a number of programs and special electronic services.
The site would also link the deanship to specialized units at KSU.
Dean Alwagait stressed the leading role of the deanship, and that the passion of the Skills Development Deanship to offer its services online was evident in their care and support of a number their special electronic programs.
Vice dean Waleed Alsalih also expressed his happiness with the meeting, and stressed the importance of including all the required documentation in order to begin building the new site.
