ksu_logoResearch Center for Humanities at King Saud University is going to be organized a workshop on ‘Cloud Storage’ on February 16, 2014 at building number 31.

The workshop will be conducted under the guidance of Eman Al-Rayes, Sahar Al-Fawaz and Amjad Al-Yamani.

The main objective behind workshop is to develop the knowledge and skills of trainees on the concept of cloud storage and how to use it.

The cloud storage is a model of networked enterprise storage where data is stored in virtualized pools of storage which are generally hosted by third parties. Hosting companies operate large data centers, and people who require their data to be hosted buy or lease storage capacity from them.
