The prestigious McGill University in Canada has invited Professor Adel bin-Ali Al-Shaddy, supervisor of the Engineer Abdulmohsen Aldress Chair for the Biography of the Prophet and its Contemporary Study, to give a lecture on building bridges between cultures through the biography of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The event will serve as an introduction of the chair and the efforts of King Saud University to reach the highest international renown and leadership in the service of the Prophet’s biography and contemporary studies.
The chair aims to facilitate the study of the Prophet's biography and highlight the shining example of his ethics in contemporary reality through a combination of scientific and field studies and diverse programs and activities leading to excellence in introducing the prophet of mercy (PBUH) and teaching his biography.
Optional addition, not in the text sent for translation: The Engineer Abdulmohsen Aldress Chair for the Biography of the Prophet and its Contemporary Study was established in late 2010 as a comprehensive scientific program catering for specialized studies, research, and strategies to fully detail the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) and provide means of following his role model in all walks of life. The Chair also financially and academically supports scholars of the Prophet’s life and this support is one of the main aims of the Chair.
