Training Program at Advanced Manufacturing Institute, King Saud University

Advanced Manufacturing Institute at King Saud University, offers various skill development courses to the students. In continuation with its efforts to develop an efficient manpower for the Kingdom, its training program starts again for this session last week. The training is provided to the students and the researchers free of cost. The courses offered for: CATIA, Ansys, SolidWorks, Reverse Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, AutoCad, and CNC machining. All the courses are designed in such a way, that the student will become ready for the industry. The focus of the program is to build a talent pool for Saudi Industry.
Engineer Mustufa H. Abidi, finished the training course for “Design using SolidWorks” last week. SolidWorks course focus on development of fundamental skills, and key concepts of the computer-aided design process. The goal of this course is to teach you how to use SolidWorks Conceptual Design to create, capture and evaluate concept designs prior to physical prototyping and detail design.
