On the 9th of November 2017, the College of Applied Medical Science at King Saud University has hosted a Dutch Scientific delegation from Hanze University. As a part of strengthening ties even further between the two universities and reinforce research program's cooperation, in the field of Health Rehabilitation, Sciences, and Physiotherapy. In a step towards achieving CAMS's vision of excellence and leadership in the field of research. Applied Medical Science was the first college in KSU established in 1379H, becoming the standard to evaluate the advancement of its fields to convoy with the steady development of medical science.

The visit began with an introductory meeting, led by the International Coordinator at Hanze University of Applied Sciences Henk Willemsen and Hanze faculty members at the University, Dr. Marjo Blok, the Saudi cultural attache in the Netherlands Dr. Munir Al Otaibi and coordinated the Dutch embassy educational Dr. Jeroen Gankema.

The delegation was welcomed by CAMS Vice-Dean Dr. May Al-Rashed, Deputy Head of the Rehabilitation Department, Dr. Ghadeer Al-Juraiba and Department of Rehabilitation Faculty member Dr. Hana Al-Sobayel, Who presented a slide show about the Saudi Health System and physiotherapy. After that Henk Willemsen presented the research programs offered by the Henze University in the field of Physiotherapy.
