KSU Female Students Campus Celebrates Al-Janadriyah Festival

On the 21st of Feb 2018,  the female students' campus at KSU celebrated the National Festival of Heritage and Culture "Al-Janadriyah", which was organized by the public relation and media administration in the female students' campus in cooperation with the deanships and colleges and administrations under the supervision of the Vice Rectorate for female student affairs. KSU's participation in this historical event is considered a profound indicator of the University's attention to heritage, culture, traditions and authentic Arabic values.

The festival featured the history and culture of different Saudi regions, each section districted itself from others. During the festival, the "Giving Club" attracted visitors by acting out scenes of old classrooms and traditional weddings. Furthermore, the College of Business Administration participated in the festival with "Words From Local Dialects and its Meanings". The Deanship of Science and Medical Studies Departments launched an initiative called "Country Service"   as a step to strengthen the role of educational institutions in national service and development.

It is noteworthy that the festival attracted a large number of attendees among KSU students, staff and faculty.  The Vice Rector For the Female Students Affairs Dr. Enas AL-Eisa visited the festival and expressed her gratitude toward the student's participation in the national festival. The festival included many sponsors from different institutes and small businesses. KSU's generous sponsorship for this festival emphasizes its interest in linking the students' contemporary culture with the great heritage of the country.
