KSU Students Receive Medal of Excellence in the Translation Marathon

The College of Languages and Translation at KSU participated in "The Translation Marathon" which took place at the Riyadh International Book Fair from 15 to 24 March 2018.

The marathon aimed at boosting the process of translating Wikipedia articles related to the Kingdom's culture, history, heritage, and social norms in both English and French in order to support tourism and correct the global prospective of Saudi Arabia and its culture.

85 KSU students have received the Medal of Excellence for their excellent mistake-free translation, which is considered a source of pride for the college and university.

5 KSU faculty members have participated as well in the judgment and organization committees; Aljawhara Alshubaiky, Mona Oliwa, Abeer Alomar, Sara Aldawood and Sara Alnughaimesh.
