8th Scientific Research Day in College of Pharmacy

     Under the patronage of KSU Rector Prof. Badran Al-Omar, the College of Pharmacy in the female student campus held the "8th Scientific Research Day" and an accompanying exhibition over the two day period starting from Wednesday 25th of April 2018.

     Dr. Aws Al-Shamsan - Dean of the College of Pharmacy – emphasized on the leading role of the college in enriching the scientific research. He noted in the first research the college conducted in 1969 and said “the college prides itself on its research achievements, patents, pharmaceutical products which indicate high-level research skills.

     On this occasion, Prof. Einas Al-Eisa - Vice Rector for Female Student Affairs - praised this scientific event and its important role in broadening the students’ scientific research skills. She said, "This is one of the most important evidence of women's education in the Kingdom, build by the faculty members for students." Dr. Al-Eisa pointed to the part of these seminars in improving the skills of students, who remind us that "graduation and obtaining a college degree is not enough without acquiring scientific research skills."

     The Rector's speech was delivered by Dr. Abdullah Al-Sugair - Vice Rector for Projects – which stressed on the continuous support of the wise leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the clear interest in higher education to establish the Kingdom's prestigious position among the developed countries.

     This exhibition comes under the university's persistent attention and to develop all the capabilities that support the students' ambition, and providing an appropriate environment through the organization of scientific and research conferences.
