The Advisory Board of the Department of Administrative Sciences holds meeting 1439-1440 H

In line with the aspirations of the Department of Administrative Sciences towards improving its academic practices and developing them and linking them to the needs and aspirations of the labor market and the local community, the Advisory Council of the Department of Administrative Sciences at the Community College held its meeting for the academic year 1439-1440 H on Sunday, 2/8/1440 H corresponding to 7/4/2019 at 1.00 pm in the college .

Dr Faisal Al-Bawardi, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Khalid Al-Qarouni, Mr. Sultan Al-Maashouq Mr. Mohammed Al-Subaie, Mr. Abdullah Al-Hamid, Mr Ahmed Al-Thari, and Mr. Hisham Al-Shawi, attended the meeting and were welcomed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Abdullah Al-Zahrani, and the Head of the Department of Administrative Sciences Dr. Ahmed Al-Amri

The Advisory Board started its meeting with a welcome from the President of the Council, Dr. Faisal Al-Bawardi addressed to the members of the Advisory Council. He reviewed the topics on the Council's agenda, which focused on the most important achievements of the department during the academic year 1439/1440 H, as well as the department's strategic plan including its vision, mission and the related performance indicators. In addition, he highlighted the amendments to the study plans of the Department of Administrative Sciences and their positive effects on some areas of performance in the department, and the learning outcomes of the five specialties of the department. The possibility of introducing a specialization of tax accounting and entrepreneurship in the light of the needs of the labor market has been discussed.

Finally, activating the partnership between the department and employers in the areas of training and employment has been stated. After discussing the different topics on the agenda, the meeting proposed a set of recommendations which aimed at developing the department work serving basically the student. At the end of the meeting, which lasted more than an hour and a half, the Chairman of the Advisory Council and the Head of the Department thanked all members of the Advisory Board for the attendance and efforts to improve and continuously develop the areas of work of the department
