It was supervisedThe tournament was supervised by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation (SUSF) with the Saudi Sports Federation of Universities with the participation ofover more than 40 female students from 10 departments ofuniversities: King Saud University, Imam Abdulr Rahman Bin bin Faisal University, Princess Nora Bint bint Abdulr Rahman University, Jeddah University, Imam Muhammad Bin bin Saud Islamic University, Faculty of Vision Colleges, King Saud Bin bin Abdula-Aziz University for Health Sciences, Jeddah International College, Colleges of Onaiza and Taiba University.
During the technical meeting The technical meeting of the first championship of the season was held on Wednesday, under the leadership of between the adviser of the Saudi Universities Sports Federation, Dr. Mezna Al-Marzooqi, Adviser of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, and the Director director of the tournament, Najla Al-Tukhaifi, and the director of the sports club in the female students’ campus, Samia Al-Fawaz, Director of the Sports Club in the University City for Female Students. Twelve 12 individual and group tournaments and competitions were announced this season. The tournament will be in the following categoriesconsists of Kumite competition (: Weight categories: Weight Battle (-50kg,-kg, -55kg, -61kg, -68kg,+kg, +68kg), and Kata kata competition: Kata individual, Kata Kata groupteam),. Two students from KSU, Dhuha Al-Faris and Maryam Al-Dawalibi, competed with the participation of two female students, Dhuha Al-Faris and Maryam Al-Dawalibi from King Saud University in the individual kata.
The ceremony openedIn the opening ceremony on Thursday, with a speech by Dr. Gazeal Al-Aisa, who praised the female participation of girls from various universities in the the Karate Tournament Karate Athletic Union Championship and wished everyone success in it and otherthe best of luck to all players competing in all competitions. On the other hand, She alsoDr. Meznah Al-Marooqi expressed her pride at the participation of universities and colleges, as the number of female players increased from the previous seasonin the increase in female participation this year. This shows their eagerness to represent the Kingdom in international eventsinternationally and to develop university sports.
