As part of their joint efforts in combating chronic diseases, the University Center for Obesity Research, in collaboration with the Liver Diseases Research Center at King Saud University, organized a series of events to mark the World Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease Day. This initiative aims to raise awareness about this important disease and educate the public about the importance of prevention and treatment.

The events included a number of important activities, including informative lectures delivered by experts in the fields of obesity and liver diseases, as well as practical workshops providing guidance to improve lifestyle and proper nutrition. The events also witnessed presentations of the latest research and innovations in the treatment and management of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

These events are part of the commitment of both university centers to enhance health awareness and encourage community action to combat chronic diseases. It is hoped that the events will contribute to directing joint efforts towards improving community health and alleviating the health burden associated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
