Cooperation Agreement Signed Between the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research and Lean Business Services

King Saud University, represented by the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lean Business Services to support research and innovation projects in the field of biotechnology and strengthen the partnership between the academic and private sectors.

The signing ceremony took place at King Saud University under the patronage of the Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Saleh Al-Wasel, with attendance of Dr. Sarah Al-Musharraf, Head of the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research, and Mr. Khalil Abdulwahab, Chief Commercial Officer at Lean.

The agreement aims to activate research and technical collaboration between the two parties through the exchange of expertise, development of innovative solutions based on scientific research, and the transfer of knowledge and technology. This initiative supports the national objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in promoting the knowledge economy and localizing biotechnology industries.

Dr. Sarah Al-Musharraf emphasized that this partnership is a significant step toward converting scientific research outcomes into practical applications that contribute to the development of the health and technology sectors in the Kingdom. She added that the center is committed to building bridges of cooperation with leading local and international entities.

For his part, Mr. Khalil Abdulwahab expressed Lean’s pride in this partnership, which opens new horizons for innovation in business services related to the health and technology sectors. He affirmed the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance the integration of academic knowledge with practical applications.

This agreement is part of King Saud University’s strategy to strengthen cooperation with the private sector and foster an innovation-driven environment. It also aligns with the efforts of the Center of Excellence in Biotechnology Research to expand its impact in fields related to health and biotechnology.
