The College of Medicine graduates Sleep Medicine Fellowship physicians for the year 2025 from various regions of the Kingdom.
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Bandar Al-Jafan, and in the presence of the Executive Director of Health Affairs at the University Medical City, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Thunayan, and the Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Assim Al-Fadda, the University Center for Sleep Medicine and Research at the College of Medicine organized the graduation ceremony of the Sleep Medicine Fellowship for the year 2025, with graduates from various regions of the Kingdom, on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Ibn Sina Hall. The ceremony was attended by honored guests and male and female staff members of the Center, marking the culmination of integrated academic and training efforts that contributed to preparing specialized medical professionals in the field of sleep medicine, thereby enhancing the quality of healthcare services provided and improving the efficiency of diagnosing and treating sleep disorders in accordance with the latest evidence-based medical practices.
The ceremony program included the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by an introductory presentation about the University Center for Sleep Medicine and Research and the Sleep Medicine Fellowship programs, highlighting the Center’s mission, objectives, and role in training and scientific research. The Dean of the College of Medicine also delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of specialized fellowship programs in supporting the healthcare system, praising the graduates’ level and the scientific and practical competencies they achieved during their training period.
On behalf of the graduates, Dr. Hassan Al-Abdulghani delivered a speech expressing their pride in completing the fellowship requirements, appreciating the academic and supervisory support they received, and affirming their commitment to applying the knowledge and expertise they gained in serving patients and advancing clinical practice in the field of sleep medicine. He concluded his speech with a classical Arabic poem composed especially for the occasion. At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates were distributed to the graduates and commemorative photos were taken. The graduates are:
Dr. Hassan Al-Abdulghani – Consultant in Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, from Dammam.
Dr. Iman Al-Anzi – Consultant in Family Medicine and Sleep Medicine, from Tabuk.
Dr. Sultan Al-Dubaie – Consultant in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine, from Najran.
Dr. Muhannad Al-Olaite – Consultant in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine, from Riyadh.
The graduation of this cohort reflects the commitment of the College of Medicine and the University Center for Sleep Medicine and Research to qualifying competent specialists who contribute to expanding sleep medicine services across the various regions of the Kingdom and to supporting training and scientific research pathways, in line with the objectives of developing the healthcare sector and improving quality of life.
