A delegation from the College of Medicine visits the State Security Directorate pavilion at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival.

A delegation from the College of Medicine, represented by the University Center for Obesity Research, paid an official visit to the headquarters of the General Directorate of State Security at the 10th edition of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, with the aim of strengthening communication between academic institutions and national entities.

The visit included a field tour, most notably the State Security Directorate pavilion, the Ministry of Interior pavilion, and the festival’s cultural pavilion, to review the latest security technologies and advanced systems for protecting the nation, its citizens, and residents.

This visit comes as a reaffirmation of the College of Medicine’s role in engaging with major national events and as an embodiment of the principle of integration between academic and security sectors, enhancing the values of belonging and pride in the nation’s achievements.
