The College of Medicine discusses the development of faculty career pathways and support for new members in a dedicated workshop.

The College of Medicine organized today, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, a workshop titled “Studying and Discussing the Establishment of Faculty Career Tracks and Supporting New Members,” attended by a number of faculty members and those interested in academic development. The workshop aimed to discuss the importance of building clear career pathways for faculty members and their role in supporting academic excellence and achieving the college’s objectives in education, research, and innovation, as well as exchanging views and developmental proposals among participants.
The workshop was delivered by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Asim bin Abdulaziz Al-Fada, who presented a number of initiatives related to faculty career tracks at the college, and discussed professional and academic support programs for new members, contributing to strengthening the academic environment and developing teaching and research competencies.
The workshop concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing training and support programs for new faculty members, in line with the college’s aspirations toward a more effective and sustainable academic environment.
