Workshop on Strengthening Integration Between Management and Human Resources

The General Administration of Cybersecurity Holds a Specialized Workshop to Enhance Cybersecurity Awareness Among Human Resources Staff

As part of its commitment to strengthening digital capabilities and protecting the university’s information assets, the General Administration of Cybersecurity conducted a specialized workshop on May 3, 2026, attended by leaders and heads of units from the Deanship of Human Resources, along with a number of its staff. This initiative is part of a series of awareness and training programs targeting various university departments.

The Deanship of Human Resources was prioritized in this initiative due to its critical role in managing highly sensitive data and procedures. Enhancing cybersecurity awareness among its staff is therefore essential to safeguarding vital data, improving performance quality, and ensuring the continuity and reliability of institutional operations.

The workshop aimed to strengthen compliance with security standards and policies by delivering specialized training content that integrates both strategic and practical aspects of cybersecurity, contributing to the achievement of institutional goals with high efficiency.

The workshop featured two main sessions. The first session, titled “Strategic Alignment and Secure Practices,” highlighted the integration between the Deanship of Human Resources and the General Administration of Cybersecurity, and its role in protecting sensitive data and strengthening secure operational procedures. It also covered the roles and responsibilities of the administration, applicable regulations and policies, and the employee lifecycle, including cybersecurity requirements at each stage (pre-employment, during employment, and upon termination)..

The second session, titled “Secure Practices in the Workplace,” focused on raising awareness of cyber risks and common attack methods, while emphasizing the importance of adopting safe digital behaviors in daily work environments as the first line of defense in protecting personal and organizational information.

This workshop reflects the ongoing efforts of the General Administration of Cybersecurity to build a secure and reliable digital work environment that ensures data protection and business continuity, supporting the university’s direction toward institutional excellence and digital transformation.
