University Opens Admission Portal for Newly Introduced Graduate Programs

King Saud University has launched its admission portal for seven newly introduced and specialized graduate programs for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Applications will be accepted from Sunday, October 5, 2025 (13 Rabi‘ II 1447 AH), until the end of working hours on Thursday, October 16, 2025 (24 Rabi‘ II 1447 AH), via the online admission portal at: https://dgs.ksu.edu.sa.

Dr. Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al-Hadlaq, Dean of Graduate Studies at the university, explained that the programs include three doctoral programs (Healthcare Management and Policy, Urban Studies and Planning, and Linguistics), three master’s programs (Emergency and Disaster Management, Dental Care, and Dental Technology), and one higher diploma program (Radiation Protection and Safety of Radioactive Sources). He noted that these programs are part of the university’s efforts to enhance the graduate studies system and align it with labor market needs, national development plans, and the Human Capability Development Program.

He added that the general admission requirements for graduate studies have been updated in line with the university’s new admission policies, which are based on the executive programs of Saudi Vision 2030 and the university’s transformation under the King Saud University Basic Law as an independent, non-profit academic institution. These changes aim to accommodate the largest possible number of applicants seeking to pursue advanced studies.

Dr. Al-Hadlaq emphasized that applications are to be submitted exclusively through the electronic portal, and the Deanship will not accept any paper documents. The admission portal is programmed to reflect both the general university requirements and the specific conditions of colleges, departments, and programs. Applicants will only see programs for which they qualify after meeting all prerequisites.

He further clarified that applicants must fulfill all university-wide and program-specific requirements during the application period, and that no final admission will be granted unless all conditions are met.

He added that the Deanship of Graduate Studies reserves the right to cancel an application or revoke an admission decision if any submitted data or documents are found to be inaccurate. The Dean urged prospective applicants to carefully review program details and admission requirements through the admission portal or to contact the Deanship via email (dgsad@ksu.edu.sa) or on Twitter (@DGS_KSU). Applicants reaching out by email are requested to include their full name, national ID number, college, department, and the program they wish to apply for in order to facilitate support.
