To Enhance the Quality of the Educational Process, the College Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Holds Meeting with Course Coordinators

Prof. Mona bint Mohammed Suleiman, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Academic Affairs, convened a meeting with course coordinators for the second semester of the academic year 1447 AH on Wednesday morning, 23 Sha’ban 1447 AH, at the College’s Departmental Councils Meeting Hall. The meeting addressed several academic and organizational matters aimed at advancing the educational process.

The session included a review of course learning objectives, with emphasis on incorporating objectives related to the applications of artificial intelligence in alignment with the nature of each discipline. This initiative seeks to ensure that learning outcomes remain responsive to emerging technological developments. Participants also discussed examination procedures, underscoring the importance of uploading all assessments and aligning exam questions with the officially approved course learning objectives to strengthen assessment quality and ensure the achievement of intended learning outcomes.

In addition, the meeting covered several issues related to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration, including the electronic grade adjustment mechanism and the recording of course results through the academic system at the full section level. Updates on academic discipline were reviewed, alongside course reports issued by the Academic Quality Unit. The meeting concluded with discussions on other emerging matters.

This meeting reflects the College’s ongoing commitment to enhancing academic performance and strengthening the quality of medical education.
