The Deanship of Development and Quality to Hold “Excellence: A Journey Toward the Future”
Under the patronage of the Acting President of King Saud University, Professor Ali bin Mohammed Masmali, the Deanship of Development and Quality will hold an event titled “Excellence: A Journey Toward the Future” on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10 a.m. in the University’s Video Communication Broadcasting Hall. The virtual event will feature a dialogue on technological excellence and the future.
The session will be moderated by Dr. Hanan Abdulaziz Alolaiyan, Vice Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality for Quality Affairs, and will host student speaker Leen Mishaal Al-Harbi, a Software Engineering student in the College of Computer and Information Sciences. The event will be streamed through the University’s official communication channels, including YouTube and the X platform.
It is worth noting that student Leen Al-Harbi has received a number of international and local awards, including a gold medal at the International Invention Competition, three international awards from Canada, two international awards from Taiwan, first place in the bachelor’s category at the King Saud University Scientific Forum, the Best Research Poster Award at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, and third place at the Student Research Conference at King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals. She was also honored by the Deputy Minister of Health for her innovative projects.
