Dr. Rafiq Abou-Shaaban, business development advisor at the UAE’s Ras Al-Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University commended King Saud University’s endowment program during a July 15 visit to KSU.
Dr. Abou-Shaaban was greeted by the Endowment’s media advisor Mr. Hamad bin Ibrahim Al-Mouneef, KSU’s Endowment Program’s media advisor, on behalf of Dr. Abdul Hameed Abdul Jabbar, Secretary General of the program.
In addition, Dr. Ahmad Omar Mustsafa, Mr. Khalid bin Fahad Al-Hamed and a number of the Endowment’s staff also attended the meeting.
Dr. Abou-Shaaban said he was delighted for the opportunity to visit KSU and expressed his confidence in the concept of endowments, their lofty purposes and the strategic vision of relying on investments. He discussed educational endowments and explained how they bolster investments by establishing productive support channels and long-term steady income.
He mentioned several international universities that generated their own autonomies income.
