King Saud University’s Psychology Counseling Committee in the College of Nursing organized a meeting titled “Creativity Is Your Road to Success.” The meeting was held the morning November 21 under the patronage of Khalid K. Alharbi, and with the College’s Vice Dean for Female Students, Dr. Nazik M. Zakari, in attendance.
Dr. Zakari started things off by thanking the Committee for organizing the meeting. With the slogan, Let Your Ideas Fly and Be Creative, the goal of the meeting was to help improve productivity and the academic pursuit toward a career among the College of Nursing's female students.
The committee chair, Dr. Elham M. Fayad, thanked the participants for their attendance, and delivered a talk regarding positive thinking titled, Keys of Creativity. This was followed by Assistant Professors Aliaa Alghamdi and Badriyya Al-Anzi who spoke about the creative exercises that can be used to begin the process of finding innovative ideas.
Dr. Faten Ez El-Din Fikry and lecturer Kafi Al-Shammri then addressed the subject Pinpoint Your Objectives and how using the correct way of thinking, positive thinking, is the preliminary method for embarking on that quest. Dr. Mona Talaat then spoke about self-discovery and boosting one’s self-confidence in a talk titled, Discover Yourself.
Lastly, Dr. Nasa Al-Attar discussed the evaluation of mental skills and their potential in her speech titled Evaluating and Appreciating Potentials.
During this meeting, the Level Seven female students exhibited a model that demonstrated the objectives of the meeting, conveying the idea that many creative ideas really are within easy reach.
