Dr. Ibrahim Al-HarkanKing Saud University’s Deanship of Graduate Students has announced that it will be hosting the first Graduate Student Annual Scientific Meeting (GSASM) on April 24-25, 2013.

KSU's Dean of Graduate Students, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Harkan, said that the meeting, involving male and female graduate students, will encourage graduate students to adopt an active, enthusiastic and competitive spirit.

In addition, he said participating in this event will provide students with experience and perspective needed for future professional events such as  local and international conferences, workshops and seminars.

The Deanship is calling on all KSU Masters and PhD students to attend the meeting and present their research in the form of research posters.

Graduate Studies Annual Scientific Meeting (GSASM)Cash prizes are earmarked for the most distinguished posters; six recipients in each of the gold and silver categories, and 15 in the bronze category.

The deadline for for submitting research posters is March 3.

The Deanship of Graduate Studies has also launched a website for the event (in Arabic), which provides registration procedures, poster specifications and templates, and submission deadlines.
