The Vice Rector of the university’s Development and Quality, Fahad M. Alkolibi headed the discussion, organised by the Saudi Society for Political Sciences, entitled
'The issues of political borders and its internal and international side effects'.
Professor Alkolibi spoke of the mammoth task faced by Saudi Arabia in securing it's sizeable borders from illegal infiltration, smuggling and other things. He urged all the governmental sectors to stand side by side and carry the full responsibility of protecting the borders.
While giving this rallying cry he also expressed his thanks to all the participants from Saudi universities, border guards and the sponsors of the Saudi Society of Political Science.
The Society is a specialized scientific association, whose attention is directed at the development of the academic field of political science, highlighting its importance and encouraging communication among specialists, researchers and scholars.
