Saudi Arabian students are among the winners from the 45th International Chemistry Olympiad, held recently in Moscow.
Ahmed Mohammed Alfaifi and Norah Abdallah Al-Sabti each recieved broonze medals for their performance during the Olympiad, which saw over 290 students from 77 nations participate.
Al-Sabti's performance places her in the top 40 female chemistry students worldwide.
The Saudi delegation to the Olympiad participated with the support of the King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba Foundation) together with the Ministry of Education.
Nada Al-Jallal, the deputy head of King Saud University's Chemistry Department, along with Ali Al Akl, lead the Saudi chemistry delegation.
